Clinical trials Units in the UK
The Primary Care Clinical Trials Unit (PC-CTU) is an integral part of the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford. In 2012 the PC-CTU formalised its close working relationship with the Oxford Vaccine Group forming the Primary Care and Vaccines Collaborative Clinical Trials Unit (PCVC-CTU). The PCVC-CTU is proud to hold UK Clinical Research Collaboration fully registered Clinical Trials Unit status, in recognition of the unit's ability to coordinate multi-centre clinical trials to the highest standard.
The Unit is involved in the design, conduct and analysis of investigator led multi-centred randomised trials that are carried out in collaboration with local NHS Trusts in both primary and secondary care.
