Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is a disease caused due to HIV virus that affects the human immune system. AIDS is the sixth leading cause of death among young adults. Clinical research is a branch of medical science that determines the safety and effectiveness of medications, devices, diagnostic products and treatment regimens intended for human use.
The Journal of AIDS & Clinical Research (JAR) is an Open Access Scientific Journal that aims to keep scientists, clinicians, researchers, students, and general public aware of AIDS-related information with a strong focus on basic, clinical and translational science as well as on epidemiology and disease prevention. The journal brings current research from clinical trials and epidemiological reports from around the world. Co-edited by recognized leaders in clinical virology, molecular biology and epidemiology, JAR publishes essential information on advances in the diagnosis and treatment of HIV infections as well as on the development of therapeutics and experimental vaccines. The journal provides a clinically oriented forum for Investigating and treating all sexually transmissible infections, with a special emphasis on HIV.
JAR is a scholarly journal maintains high standards of scientific excellence and its editorial board, which comprises many NIH-supported researchers, ensures a rapid reviewing process with the help of the Editorial Manager System. Manuscripts are accepted for publication only if at least two reviewers agree on the scientific quality of a submitted manuscript.
Journal of AIDS & Clinical Research is associated with “2nd International Conference on HIV/AIDS, STDs, & STIs" (STD-AIDS 2014) during October 27-29, 2014 Las Vegas, USA with a theme “Raising Global Awareness on STD/AIDS and Fighting the Stigma Surrounding the Disease”.
