Adaptive clinical trial design Conference

Aptiv Solutions will be sponsoring a one-day conference focused on ‘Delivering Innovation and Efficiency Through Adaptive Clinical Trials, ’ on October 22, 2012. In partnership with Berry Consultants and Tessella, Aptiv will provide a forum for pharmaceutical industry professionals to discuss the advantages and opportunities available through the adoption of adaptive trials designs.

Helping Aptiv Solutions and its co-sponsors guide the conversation on how adaptive trials could lead to a transformation of current drug development practices will be Professor Andy Grieve, Senior Vice President of Clinical Trial Methodology at Aptiv, and Scott Gottlieb, MD, who is a Resident Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute as well as a recent addition to the Aptiv Solutions Board of Directors. The aim is for a clear and frank examination of how adaptive trials can impact the drug industry both economically and from an outcomes perspective.

The event, which is also being co-organized by Cambridge Healthtech Institute, will take place in Bethesda, Maryland. Registration and additional information concerning the conference can be found at the following link: .
